Author Dan Gutman was really upset when his mom threw out his baseball card collection when he went off to college. But he doesn't need to worry, now you and he can view some cards that would be even more valuable than those he lost.
The Library of Congress has put its collection of rare baseball cards online, giving you Internet access to 2,100 cards dating from 1887 to 1914.
Card collector Benjamin K. Edwards preserved these baseball cards and later gave them to poet Carl Sandburg, who in turn donated them to the library.
